Final design project: SEM 8

This collection ‘Let’s create better’ for streetwear is all about sustainability. The main aim of this collection is upcycling. No fabrics used in this collection, are bought they're only collected and re-used. Here, we need to understand and find solutions for problems in the field of fashion that harm the environment. If not us, who? If not now, when?

Design project: SEM 7

For this project, motifs and prints were created for two brands - Versace(high-fashion) and Biba(fast-fashion).

Self-initiated project: SEM 7

Intimate wear is the closest to our body which gives a lot of self-confidence. This collection is inspired by my poems which are about self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-love, and healing which depict a dark and mysterious mood. It's being incorporated into bodysuits through textures, colors, mood, and details.

Garment construction project: SEM 7

For this project, we created the men's blazer using pattern making and garment construction.

Design project: SEM 6

This project is based on taking inspiration from an Indian craft and a traditional Indian silhouette. Here, I've taken inspiration from the craft called 'copper works' from Tambat Ali, Pune and the silhouette inspiration is 'Peshwaz'.

Project: SEM 6

Self-branding is the process of understanding what I would look like as a brand. starting from the mood of the brand to the logo.

Open elective project: SEM 6

A gift for you is a non-fiction film made using a mobile phone. This virtual gift is to provide comfort for everyone, going through a tough time during this pandemic. The aim of this film is to provide solace and create a positive aura, with the use of packaging video aesthetics, music, and poetry. Let your soul enjoy the rhythm.

Project: SEM 5

A traditional Indian handicraft was chosen for the purpose of finding exciting ways to bring it back. Here, the silver filigree of Odisha was chosen.

Project: SEM 5

Inclusive fashion is to help to improve the social integration of people with disabilities through fashion. ASSIGNMENT: DESIGNING GARMENTS FOR A PERSON WITH A VISUAL DISABILITY.

Design project: SEM 5

The elegant twist where women's intimate fashion meets men's classic.
Using fabrics like silks, satins, net, sheers, shimmers, and laces with men's classic silhouettes and fabrics. The main purpose is for men to feel comfortable in their own identity, by loving their body the way it is and not wearing what they've been told to wear for years.

Design project: SEM 4

Rajesh Pratap Singh has long been established as a minimalist designer who promotes Indian fabrics and techniques. Only a  handful of other designers have been able to match the graceful aesthetics of Rajesh Pratap Singh. The collection will be sublime with a confluence of understated aesthetics and Indian heritage. The silhouettes will be classic and give the wearer the freedom to repeat effortlessly. Excess in every form is shunned focusing only on minimalism and finer details. Monochromes, androgyny, and layering of garments using only natural handloom fabrics will be the key aesthetic to craft a range of coordinates and separates.

Design project: SEM 3

My first classroom design project was to make a simple tunic taking inspiration from the monument 'Hagia Sophia' of Istanbul. The process includes - tunic study, monument research, mind maps, boards, design developments, and photoshoots.

Design project: SEM 3

This project was about creating an ensemble by taking inspiration from a brand. My inspiration is Gia curves by Westside. The process involved visiting stores, in-depth research, studying target customers, trend research, and creating boards. The collection was named ' FAT AMY SS 2019 ' CARE-FREE, CONFIDENT, and COMFORTABLE.
End result - Trapeze Silhouette Top with Black Cigarette Pants.
